Volleyball Recap: Elkins Comes Up Short

Elkins lost against Robert C. Byrd last Wednesday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Tigers took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Eagles. The Tigers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Maura O'Neill paced Elkins' offense, picking up 17 kills. O'Neill got some help from Samantha White and her 18 assists.

Elkins now has a losing record of 19-20-1. As for Robert C. Byrd, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 15-16 record this season.

Elkins does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Robert C. Byrd, they will head out to take on Bridgeport at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
