It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Cimarron can now relate to. They took a blow against the Haven Wildcats on Friday, falling 38-7. The Bluejays were already down big by the end of the third quarter and they stayed that way after failing to score in the fourth.

Trace Kopper rushed for 57 yards on only eight carries, and also threw for 91 yards and a touchdown. Isayah Barranca was his top target, picking up 36 receiving yards. On the ground, McCoy Nash rushed for 59 yards.

Nash Wray continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Haven, throwing for 121 yards and three touchdowns, while also rushing for 46 yards and a touchdown. Wray is on a roll when it comes to passing touchdowns, as he's now passed for three or more in the last four games he's played. Haven also got a significant boost from Vance Loop, who ran away from the competition to the tune of 115 yards.

Cimarron dropped their record down to 2-7 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road. As for Haven, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 8-1.

As of now, neither Cimarron nor Haven have any future games scheduled.
