Volleyball Recap: Superior Takes a Loss

Superior was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss dating back to last season. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Eau Claire North Huskies. If the Spartans were looking for revenge after losing 3-0 to the Huskies when the teams met back in September of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Superior's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Eau Claire North, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

Coincidentally, Superior and Eau Claire North will both be playing Marshfield the next time they take the court. The Spartans will head out to face the Tigers at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Huskies will play them later in the day, at 6:00 p.m.
