Volleyball Recap: Oswego Takes a Loss

Oswego lost against Bluestem back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Indians fell just short of the Lions by a score of 2-1.

In a back-and-forth that saw neither team win consecutive sets, Oswego sadly dropped the once that decided the match. The final score came out to 25-10, 21-25, 25-22.

Autumn Neblett paced Oswego's offense, picking up nine kills. Neblett got some help from Kodi Trimble and her 16 assists. Trimble was also solid from the service line: she led the team with six aces.

Oswego's loss ended a three-match streak of wins at home and dropped them to 15-20. As for Bluestem, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 20-16-1.

Coincidentally, Oswego and Bluestem will both be playing Classical the next time they take the court. The Indians will head out to face the Saints at 6:00 p.m. on Monday, while the Lions will play them later in the day, at 7:00 p.m.
