Basketball Game Preview: Fowler Eagles vs. Frankfort Panthers

The Fowler Eagles will take on the Frankfort Panthers at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Fowler comes in on 12 and Frankfort on four.

Fowler can't be too worried about heading out to take on Frankfort: they just beat Sacred Heart Academy at home, who had been dominant on their own court up to that point. Everything went Fowler's way against Sacred Heart Academy on Wednesday as Fowler made off with a 57-36 win. The Eagles have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 19 games by 21 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, Frankfort didn't have too much trouble with St. Mary Cathedral on Wednesday as they won 48-30.

Fowler pushed their record up to 24-2 with the victory, which was their 11th straight on the road. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 26.3 points on average over those games. As for Frankfort, their win bumped their record up to 18-6.

Fowler strolled past Frankfort when the teams last played back in March of 2019 by a score of 41-26. Will Fowler repeat their success, or does Frankfort have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
