Smithton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They received a blow as they fell 52-38 to the Pilot Grove Tigers. One positive for Smithton, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.

Smithton's loss dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Pilot Grove, with the win, they broke their six-game losing streak and moved their record to 1-5.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Smithton will take on Jamestown in a holiday battle at at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Pilot Grove and Glasgow will compete for holiday cheer at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
