Football Recap: Winslow Township Extends Winning Streak to Eight

Winslow Township had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They really took it to the Shawnee Renegades for the full four quarters, racking up a 47-7 win. Considering the Eagles have won seven contests by more than 34 points this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.

The victory (which was Winslow Township's eighth in a row) raised their record to 9-2. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 41.1 points over those games. As for Shawnee, their defeat ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 7-4.

Coming up, Winslow Township will challenge Millville at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Shawnee does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
