Volleyball Recap: Southwestern Comes Up Short

Southwestern lost against Madison back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Rebels came up short against the Cubs, falling 3-0.

The final score came out to 25-6, 25-8, 25-9.

Southwestern's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Madison, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 11-6 record this season.

Southwestern wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 defeat against Scottsburg on the 30th. As for Madison, they have also already played their next game, a 3-0 win against Shawe Memorial on the 28th.
