Softball Recap: Fraser Comes Up Short

Fraser came into their game on Tuesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 15-6 to the Utica Chieftains. The loss continues a trend for the Ramblers in their meetings with the Chieftains: they've now lost three in a row.

Madison MacLeod made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-3 with one home run and two RBI. That home run marked the first that she has launched this season.

Fraser's defeat dropped their record down to 15-9. As for Utica, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 12-12.

Looking ahead, Fraser is taking a road trip to face off against Mott at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Utica, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Utica Eisenhower at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
