Volleyball Recap: Los Gatos Takes a Loss

Los Gatos came into their game on Monday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the Palo Alto Vikings, falling 3-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Wildcats of the 3-2 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 25-11, 25-13.

Los Gatos has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-8 record this season. As for Palo Alto, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 11-6.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Los Gatos will square off against rival Los Altos at 6:45 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Palo Alto is set to take on their familiar foe Milpitas at 6:45 p.m. on Wednesday.
