Nash Central has won three straight games at home, while Wake Prep Academy has won three straight on the road, but those streaks won't matter much on Thursday. The Bulldogs will welcome the Guardians at 5:00 p.m.

Nash Central is probably headed into the match with a chip on their shoulder considering Bunn just ended the team's four-match winning streak on Tuesday. They lost 3-0 to the Wildcats.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-11, 25-20, 25-15.

Meanwhile, Wake Prep Academy got the win against American Leadership Academy-Johnston on Tuesday by a conclusive 3-0.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Wake Prep Academy was: they took every set by at least 12 points. The final score came out to 25-13, 25-11, 25-10.

Nash Central better keep an eye on Brenna Barnes. She was instrumental in Wake Prep Academy's win, getting ten digs and six aces. That's the most aces Barnes has posted since back in August.

Wake Prep Academy's victory bumped their record up to 18-5. As for Nash Central, their loss dropped their record down to 14-4.

Nash Central was able to grind out a solid win over Wake Prep Academy in their previous meeting two weeks ago, winning 3-1. Do the Bulldogs have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Guardians turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
