Basketball Recap: Eastlake's Losing Streak Snapped at Three Games

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Lake Washington, Eastlake was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They managed a 59-53 win over the Monroe Bearcats. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Wolves as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

Eastlake's win bumped their record up to 3-5. As for Monroe, their loss was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 2-5.

Eastlake won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Tahoma at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Monroe, they will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Everett at 8:00 p.m. on January 3, 2025.
