Soccer Recap: Steward Starts Season with Loss at Home

Steward unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-pitch advantage in their season opener. They fell just short of the Virginia Academy Patriots by a score of 2-1 on Wednesday.

The win made it two in a row for Virginia Academy and bumps their season record up to a perfect 2-0.

Coming up, Steward will host St. Catherine's at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Virginia Academy, they will head out to square off against Cumberland Valley Christian at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
