Basketball Game Preview: Adrian Matadors vs. Wildorado Mustangs

Adrian is 0-9 against Wildorado since December of 2020 but things could change on Tuesday. The Adrian Matadors will look to defend their home court against the Wildorado Mustangs at 6:00 p.m. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, the two teams will really light up the scoreboard.

Last Tuesday, Adrian came up short against Pringle-Morse and fell 74-62. The Matadors have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Wildorado came tearing into Friday's matchup with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 30.7 points) and they left with even more momentum. They put the hurt on the Cougars with a sharp 59-38 victory. The Mustangs have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 12 games by 21 points or more this season.

Wildorado's win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 20-7. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 27.6 points over those games. As for Adrian, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-14.
