Elkhorn South and Lincoln Southwest are an even 3-3 against one another since December of 2015, but not for long. The Storm will be defending their home court for the first time this season when they go up against the Silver Hawks at 3:45 p.m. on Saturday.

Elkhorn South is coming home looking for redemption after taking a loss in their road opener. The game between the Storm and Kearney didn't end well, with the Storm falling 65-51. Sadly, the defeat continues a streak the team started last season, making it six in a row.

Despite the loss, Elkhorn South saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Jack Feeney posted 15 points and five boards. Another player making a difference was Mark Noameshie, who scored six points.

Meanwhile, Lincoln Southwest took care of business in their home opener on Thursday. They snuck past Lincoln East with a 62-56 win.
