Soccer Recap: Palisade Takes a Loss + How To Watch

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Palisade can now relate to. They came up short against the Battle Mountain Huskies on Thursday, falling 5-1. While losing is never fun, Palisade can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Colorado soccer rankings (they are ranked 100th, while Battle Mountain are ranked 19th).

Palisade is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-10-1. As for Battle Mountain, their win bumped their record up to 10-4-2.

Palisade does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Battle Mountain, they will square off against George Washington on Wednesday. George Washington will roll in looking for their seventh straight victory, something Battle Mountain surely won't give up without a fight.
