If the Stewart County Royal Knights were feeling good off their 59-32 takedown of the Pataula Charter Academy Panthers last Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. Stewart County was outmatched by Early County at home and fell 68-26. Stewart County has not had much luck with Early County recently, as the team's come up short the last four times they've met.

Jacorra Russell was her usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 26 points and 15 rebounds for Early County. That makes it six consecutive games in which Russell has scored at least a third of Early County's points. Another player making a difference was Ashley Collins, who scored nine points along with six rebounds.

Stewart County's loss dropped their record down to 10-9. As for Early County, the win (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 20-5.
