Basketball Recap: Lemont's Victory on Friday Extends Winning Streak to 11

It's playoff time, and Lemont had no trouble coming through when it counted. They simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat the Morgan Park Mustangs 84-46. The Lemont HS have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 16 games by 20 points or more this season.

Morgan Park lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Robert Scott, who posted seven points. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in assists (two). Another player making a difference was Jacque Lewis, who had 11 points.

The victory (which was Lemont's 11th in a row) raised their record to 25-7. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 29 points. As for Morgan Park, their defeat dropped their record down to 17-14.

As of now, neither Lemont nor Morgan Park have any future games scheduled.
