Basketball Recap: South Garland Comes Up Short

South Garland was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They were beaten by the Lakeview Centennial Patriots 67-9. While losing is never fun, the Titans can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 1250th, while the Patriots are ranked 287th).

South Garland's defeat dropped their record down to 3-10. As for Lakeview Centennial, they pushed their record up to 11-6 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road.

South Garland will venture away from home to take on Wylie East at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Lakeview Centennial, they will take on Naaman Forest at 6:15 p.m. on Friday.
