Basketball Recap: New Hope Academy National Comes Up Short

New Hope Academy National was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their tenth straight defeat. They were outmatched by the Prince George's Christian Academy Flyers and fell 88-50. While losing is never fun, the Tigers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Maryland basketball rankings (they are ranked 90th, while the Flyers are ranked 15th).

New Hope Academy National's loss dropped their record down to 14-23. As for Prince George's Christian Academy, they pushed their record up to 18-10 with the win, which was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season.

Coming up, New Hope Academy National will be taking part in a tournament against Oak Ridge Military Academy at 7:20 p.m. on Friday. Prince George's Christian Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
