There's no place like home for Half Moon Bay, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Thursday. They walked away with a 4-1 win over the Lincoln Mustangs on Saturday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Cougars also won the last time the pair played back in March of 2024.

Andreas Hipkins spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned run on three hits and racked up ten Ks.

At the plate, Cole Giannini was excellent, going 1-for-3 with three RBI and one double.

Half Moon Bay hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Lincoln struck out ten times.

Half Moon Bay's victory bumped their record up to 9-14. As for Lincoln, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 13-15.

Coming up, Half Moon Bay will take on Aragon at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Dons' pitching crew has only allowed four runs per game this season, so the Cougars' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Lincoln, they will face off against Burton at 3:30 p.m. on Monday.
