Volleyball Recap: McLane Highlanders vs. Hughson Huskies
McLane was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Hughson Huskies. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Highlanders of the 2-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2018.
Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-19.
McLane's defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Hughson, the victory (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 6-2.
Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Pitman the next time they take the court. Hughson will head out to face Pitman at 3:30 p.m. on Friday, while McLane will play them later in the day, at TBD.
