Volleyball Recap: Stanton Comes Up Short

The Stanton Buffaloes came up short against the Coahoma Bulldogs on Tuesday, falling 3-0. The Buffaloes have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

The match finished with set scores of 25-10, 25-10, 25-13.

Bree Lewis was nothing short of spectacular for Coahoma: she had 13 kills and two blocks. Lewis has been hot for a while, having posted five or more kills the last 14 times she's played. Gabby Cox was another key player, getting 13 assists and three digs.

Stanton now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Coahoma, they pushed their record up to 16-7-1 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road.

After both having extra time off, Stanton and Grady will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Coahoma, they will venture away from home to take on Colorado at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
