Baseball Recap: Corvian Community Comes Up Short

It was a proper cat-fight when Corvian Community took on Ambassador Christian School on Monday. The Cardinals took a 7-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Lions. The Cardinals were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Lions earlier this season, when they won 20-3.

Corvian Community saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Gavin McElhinny, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run.

Corvian Community's loss dropped their record down to 11-13. As for Ambassador Christian School, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 10-11.

Corvian Community does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Ambassador Christian School, they will take on Carmel Christian at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Cougars will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each match than the last.
