Softball Recap: Daleville Broncos vs. New Castle Trojans

Daleville extended their losing streak to three on Saturday, dropping their season record down to 13-6 in the process. They took an 8-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of the New Castle Trojans. The Broncos were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Trojans apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in April of 2024.

Daleville saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Emily Simmons, who went 2-for-4 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one triple. Another was Valyn Pattengale, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base, one double, and one RBI.
