Baseball Recap: Oak Hill Red Devils vs. Woodrow Wilson Flying Eagles
Oak Hill extended their losing streak to three on Monday, dropping their season record down to 5-14 in the process. They fell 10-5 to the Woodrow Wilson Flying Eagles. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Flying Eagles this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 7-6 last Tuesday.
J.D. Mauritz was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-3 with one triple and one RBI. That triple was his first of the season.
As for Woodrow Wilson, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 13-8 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.1 runs over those games.
On Woodrow Wilson's side, Tyler Wilhite made a splash while hitting and pitching.
