Basketball Recap: Elcho Takes a Loss

Elcho was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat dating back to last season. They were beaten by the Tigerton Tigers 82-31. The Hornets lost against the Tigers in their previous head to head back in December of 2023, too, but the margin this time around was even wider than the 78-76 score last time.

Elcho's loss dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Tigerton, the win was the eighth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 9-1.

Elcho will square off against Three Lakes at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Elcho is facing Three Lakes at the right time seeing as Three Lakes is stuck on a three-game losing streak. Tigerton has already played their next match (against Northland Lutheran), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
