Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask St. Vincent-St. Mary). They blew past the Garrett Morgan Falcons 19-0 on Thursday. Considering the Fighting Irish have won 11 matches by more than six runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

St. Vincent-St. Mary got a massive performance out of Zack Kurkey, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with two stolen bases, two runs, and two RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Rylan Hurley, who went 1-for-2 with two runs, one triple, and one stolen base.

St. Vincent-St. Mary always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .675. The last time their OBP was this high was back in May of 2024.

St. Vincent-St. Mary pushed their record up to 17-8 with the win, which was their seventh straight at home. The home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.3 runs on average over those games. As for Garrett Morgan, their loss dropped their record down to 11-9.
