Baseball Recap: Socorro Takes a Loss

Socorro came into this matchup off a tough ten-run loss last Tuesday. This time they kept things ultra-competitive, but unfortunately the final result was the same. They fell just short of the Highland Hornets by a score of 4-2 on Friday. The Warriors' defeat continues a trend for the team, making it four in a row.

Gabriel Silva made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored a run and stole two bases while going 3-for-3. Those three hits gave him a new career-high.

Socorro's loss dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Highland, their victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 3-7-1.
