Volleyball Recap: Johansen Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Johansen was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 14th straight loss. They came up short against the Lathrop Spartans, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Spartans this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in September.

The match finished with set scores of 25-10, 25-17, 25-8.

Lathrop was led to victory by Sariah Hilton and Jadore Dixon. Hilton had six digs and six aces, while Dixon had 12 digs and four aces. That's the most aces Hilton has posted since back in September.

Johansen's defeat dropped their record down to 0-14. As for Lathrop, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-6 record this season.

Johansen has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 loss against Central Valley on the 15th. As for Lathrop, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-0 win against Livingston on the 15th.
