Softball Game Preview: Pasquotank County Panthers vs. Northeastern Eagles

The Pasquotank County Panthers will challenge the Northeastern Eagles at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with six consecutive losses for Pasquotank County and 14 for Northeastern dating back to last season.

Friday just wasn't the day for Pasquotank County's offense. They came up short against Currituck County on Friday, falling 12-0.

Meanwhile, Northeastern scored the most runs they've had this season on Friday, but it wasn't enough. They lost 23-7 to Martin County.

Northeastern's defeat dropped their record down to 0-12. As for Pasquotank County, their loss dropped their record down to 2-9.

Pasquotank County got the 'W' when the teams last played back in March of 2025 against Northeastern by a conclusive 16-6 score. Do the Panthers have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Eagles turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
