Baseball Game Preview: Warwick Warriors vs. Solanco Golden Mules

Warwick has gone a perfect 7-0 against Solanco recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Monday. The Warriors will take on the Golden Mules at 4:15 p.m.

Last Thursday, Warwick didn't have quite enough to beat Elizabethtown and fell 4-3.

While Solanco didn't have the best season last year (they finished 9-11), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They had just enough and edged out Lebanon 3-2 on Wednesday. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last four times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Ayden Herr and Garrett Aukamp did most of the damage at the plate: Herr went 2-for-4 with three stolen bases, while Aukamp scored a run and stole a base while going 3-for-3. That stolen base marked the first that Aukamp snagged this season.

Solanco's win bumped their record up to 7-2. As for Warwick, their loss dropped their record down to 1-7.

Warwick took their victory against Solanco in their previous meeting back in April of 2022 by a conclusive 15-1 score. Will the Warriors repeat their success, or do the Golden Mules have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
