Preview: Bray-Doyle vs. Paoli
On Friday Paoli take on Bray-Doyle at 7:30 PM. If you head out to watch the game, expect to stay the whole 48 minutes : the MaxPreps national rankings predict a close match.
Paoli had a bit more than a touchdown to spare in a 22-12 victory over Maysville. No one had a better game by the numbers than senior Cory Cunningham, who brought his A game into the match. He rushed for 83 yards and 2 touchdowns.
Meanwhile, Bray-Doyle simply couldn't be stopped last week, as they easily beat Thackerville 58-13.
Their wins bumped Bray-Doyle to 2-0 and Paoli to 1-1. Bray-Doyle's offensive line will need to gear up for a tough test against a Paoli defensive front that amassed 6 sacks against Maysville, so we'll see if they are up to the task.
