Douglass is headed into the match having just posted their closest win since March 9, 2024 on Saturday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Texas Alliance of Christian Athletes, sneaking past 41-38. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Trojans.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Putnam City North challenged Moore on Tuesday. Putnam City North might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 60-57 to Moore, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. The defeat continues a trend for the Panthers in their matchups with the Lions: they've now lost four in a row.

Douglass has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a massive bump to their 6-6 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 57.8 points per game. As for Putnam City North, their loss dropped their record down to 10-6.
