Volleyball Recap: Dynamic Duo of Jordyn Garbig and Cameron Garbig Lead Arcanum to Victory

Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Arcanum walked away with it. They put the hurt on the Cincinnati Country Day Nighthawks with a sharp 3-0 victory on Saturday. Winning may never get old, but the Trojans sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

The match finished with set scores of 25-10, 25-21, 25-12.

Leading Arcanum to victory were Cameron Garbig and Jordyn Garbig. Cameron had seven digs and two aces, while Jordyn had six digs. Cameron is on a roll when it comes to aces, as she's now served two or more in each of the last four games she's played.

They weren't the only good servers: Arcanum was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 14 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least five aces in ten consecutive matches.

Arcanum's record is now 20-5. As for Cincinnati Country Day, they dropped their record down to 4-15 with the loss, which was their sixth straight on the road.

Arcanum wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 3-1 defeat against Fort Recovery on the 29th. Cincinnati Country Day does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
