The Seymour Owls will head out to challenge the Brownstown Central Braves at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Seymour will be hoping to continue their three-game streak of scoring more points each game than the last.

Seymour's defense heads into the matchup hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Friday. They claimed a resounding 49-0 win over Bedford North Lawrence on the road. The Owls' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Meanwhile, Brownstown Central put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They blew past North Harrison 41-3 on the road. The 41-point effort marked the Braves' lowest-scoring contest of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

Gregory Hutcheson and Micah J Sheffer were among the main playmakers for Brownstown Central as the former rushed for 107 yards on only eight carries and the latter rushed for 62 yards on only five carries. The dominant performance gave J Sheffer a new career-high in rushing yards.

The victory snapped Seymour's losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 2-3 record. As for Brownstown Central, their win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 5-0.

Everything went Seymour's way against Brownstown Central in their previous matchup back in September of 2023, as Seymour made off with a 41-20 victory.
