Tamarac came into Monday's match having lost five straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Berlin/New Lebanon Mountain Lions on Monday. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in September.

Tamarac had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The match finished with set scores of 22-25, 25-8, 25-18, 25-22.

Tamarac's win bumped their record up to 4-8. As for Berlin/New Lebanon, they have been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last nine matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-9 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Tamarac will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Emma Willard at 5:30 p.m. on the 17th. As for Berlin/New Lebanon, they will head out to face off against Chatham at 5:30 a.m. on Wednesday.
