Volleyball Recap: Lithonia Comes Up Short

Lithonia was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss dating back to last season. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Fayette County Tigers.

The match finished with set scores of 25-11, 25-10.

Lithonia's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Fayette County, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-6.

Coming up, Lithonia will challenge Stephenson at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Fayette County, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-0 win against Strong Rock Christian on the 23rd.
