Baseball Recap: Lamesa Takes a Loss

Lamesa couldn't beat Coahoma on Monday even though they stacked four runs on them in the fourth inning. The Golden Tornadoes fell just short of the Bulldogs by a score of 6-5. The Golden Tornadoes' defeat continues a trend for the team, making it five in a row.

Daniel Ramos made the most of his time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with three RBI and one run. Another player making a difference was Isaiah Capetillo, who went 2-for-4 with one run, one double, and one RBI.

Lamesa now has a losing record of 11-12. As for Coahoma, their win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-7.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Bulldogs beat Lamesa by a score of 6-5 later that day.
