Volleyball Recap: Bridgeport Baptist Academy Triumphs

Bridgeport Baptist Academy took a three-set defeat the last time they faced off against Fellowship Baptist Academy, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Broncos came out on top in a nail-biter against the Falcons on Tuesday, sneaking past 3-2.

Bridgeport Baptist Academy wouldn't go down easily and took Fellowship Baptist Academy into a fifth set where they got it done with a three-point win. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 18-25, 23-25, 25-9, 15-12.

Bridgeport Baptist Academy had a senior duo take command as Alexis Russell had five kills and two aces and Lauren Popow had seven aces and two assists. Russell is also crushing it when it comes to assists: she's posted at least 16 every time she's taken the court this season.
