Football Recap: Lincoln Starts Season with Loss on the Road

Lincoln had to start their season on the road on Friday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They took a blow against the Shepherd Hill Regional Rams, falling 46-18. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as the Lions came into the game with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' football rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 19th in Rhode Island, while the Rams are ranked 126th in Massachusetts).

Shepherd Hill Regional has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Coming up, Lincoln is taking a road trip to challenge Moses Brown at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Shepherd Hill Regional, they will welcome Marblehead at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
