Volleyball Recap: Grace Prep Comes Up Short

Grace Prep lost against Episcopal School of Dallas back in August of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Lions fell just short of the Eagles by a score of 2-1. The Lions have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Alison Emenheiser paced Grace Prep's offense, picking up seven kills. Emenheiser got some help from Julia Lydecker and her nine assists. Nyla Dawson controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Grace Prep's defeat dropped their record down to 8-8-1. As for Episcopal School of Dallas, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-6.

Looking ahead, Grace Prep will welcome Shelton at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Episcopal School of Dallas, they have already played their next game, a 2-1 victory against All Saints Episcopal on the 30th.
