Basketball Game Preview: Wesclin Warriors vs. Okawville Rockets

Wesclin is 1-9 against Okawville since January of 2019 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Thursday. The Wesclin Warriors will welcome the Okawville Rockets at 7:30 p.m. Okawville took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Wesclin, who comes in off a win.

Last Monday, everything went Wesclin's way against East Alton-Wood River as Wesclin made off with a 39-16 win. The Warriors haven't had any issues with the Oilers recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive victory against them.

Meanwhile, Okawville played a tough match on Wednesday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were beaten by Nashville 62-30. The loss continues a trend for the Rockets in their matchups with the Hornets: they've now lost four in a row.

Okawville's defeat dropped their record down to 17-11. As for Wesclin, they pushed their record up to 18-11 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road.
