Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Two Rivers). They were the clear victors by a 14-3 margin over the Baraboo Thunderbirds on Saturday. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Purple Raiders considering their two-run performance the matchup before.

Two Rivers is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven games. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-5 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.3 runs over those games. As for Baraboo, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 7-9.

Coming up, Two Rivers will venture away from home to square off against Brillion at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. The Purple Raiders' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Lions have averaged an impressive 10 runs per game this season. As for Baraboo, they have already played their next contest, a 5-3 win against Columbus on the 10th.
