Mildred is a perfect 5-0 against Cayuga since September of 2020 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Eagles will head out on the road to take on the Wildcats at 7:00 p.m. Neither Mildred nor Cayuga posted many points in their last games, so it might be the defenses that decide this one.

Mildred is headed into the game out to prove that what happened against Frankston on Thursday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. The Eagles came up short against the Indians, falling 32-6. The contest marked the Eagles' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Meanwhile, after a string of four wins, Cayuga's good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They took a 14-7 hit to the loss column at the hands of Carlisle.

Mildred's loss dropped their record down to 4-2. As for Cayuga, their defeat dropped their record down to an identical 4-2.

Mildred strolled past Cayuga in their previous meeting back in October of 2024 by a score of 26-7. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Eagles since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
