Volleyball Recap: Dynamic Duo of Rylee Mcmillan and Brielle Goode Lead Silverton to Victory

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Crescent Valley, Silverton was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They put the hurt on the Woodburn Bulldogs with a sharp 3-0 victory. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 two weeks ago.

Silverton walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the second set). The final score came out to 25-16, 25-13, 25-17.

Silverton was led to victory by Brielle Goode and Rylee McMillan. Goode had eight digs and six aces, while McMillan hit 83.3% for five kills and six aces and four digs. Those 83.3% hitting percentage gave McMillan a new career-high.

Silverton's victory bumped their record up to 9-10. As for Woodburn, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-17.

Looking ahead, Silverton will challenge Corvallis at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Woodburn does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
