Baseball Recap: Augusta Comes Up Short

Augusta lost to Osseo-Fairchild back in May of 2025 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Beavers lost 9-2 to the Thunder. The Beavers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Owen Lee made the most of his time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 2-for-4 with two runs and one triple. That triple marked the first that he has hit this season.

Augusta's defeat dropped their record down to 2-11. As for Osseo-Fairchild, they have been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-6 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Augusta is set to square off against their familiar foe Whitehall at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Osseo-Fairchild will take on rival Independence/Gilmanton at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
