Baseball Recap: Bedford Takes a Loss

Bedford entered their match against Lorain on Monday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Bearcats fell 10-7 to the Titans. If the Bearcats were looking for revenge after losing 15-3 to the Titans when the teams met back in April of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Alex Barto made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 3-for-4 with two RBI and one run.

Bedford now has a losing record of 4-5. As for Lorain, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-7 record this season.

While Bedford had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
