            St. Anselm's Abbey has been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They took  a  71-59 hit to the loss column at the hands of McLean on Saturday. The Panthers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as McLean apparently hadn't forgotten their  loss the last time these teams played  back in December of 2023.

Perhaps the best among them was   Mario Camara Paslar, who  went 7 for 17  en route to 18 points and six  boards. The dominant performance gave  Camara Paslar a new career-high in  points.  Max Leeman was another key player,  going 6 of 15  on his way to 16 points and six  rebounds.
St. Anselm's Abbey's loss dropped their record down to 13-7. As for McLean,  the  victory  got them back to even at 7-7.
 St. Anselm's Abbey is taking a road trip to  square off against Model Secondary School for the Deaf  at 5:30  p.m.  on Monday. One thing working in St. Anselm's Abbey's favor is that they have posted at least 55  points  in their last three matchups. McLean has  already played their next  game (against Burke), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
