Tipton hadn't done well against Eugene recently (they were 0-9 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Thursday. The Cardinals were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Eagles. The victory was nothing new for the Cardinals as they're now sitting on four straight.
Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Tipton took every set by at least 12 points. The final score came out to 25-12, 25-13, 25-9.
Ava Schlotzhauer paced Tipton's offense, picking up nine kills. Schlotzhauer got some help from Kaylie Kohler and her 28 assists. Anna Crane controlled things from the service line, finishing with seven aces.
